Another Day...
Diana Feinstein, a leading Democrat in the U.S. Sentate was supposed to visit campus today to talk about Sino-American Relations. Of course I deck a tie today and get to the office early to find out that she cancelled her visit to campus.I spent the morning trying to find information art institutes in Shanghai, only to find they are pretty scarce. None of them seem to have websites, so it looks like I'll have to just go out and do some on site visits just to find out more information about their programs.
Planning on dinner at Papa Johns near campus tonight... wish me luck! I'll let you know how close it is to Papa Johns in the states.
The new Harry Potter movie is out on DVD already in the campus DVD store. Oh China...

You get more for your money at Papa John's in China. I'll tell you that. Have you been to Taco Bell yet? I think the only one in town is in Gubei, so it's a little far from where you are.
I was wondering if you knew of anything recent that has changed with the adoption policy in China. 15 out of the last 30 childrens books that have come into our elementary school have been about adoption of Chinese girls by American families. There are many more hints of something new going on also but these were the most direct.
Matt...
Papa Johns Pizza is better than the Pizza Hut in Shanghai. I do remember that they dont put that much tomato sauce on the pizza at Pizza Hut. Oh and you have get some of those potato wedges at Papa Johns(i know its kinda wierd..) but they are pretty good man!
